PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The core design function of the Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Composite Stick is to allow you to take the heaviest shots possible without having to worry about the stick snapping.  No one likes a broken top-of-the-line twig.

The TotalOne NXG features an amplified mid kick, which is engineered to give maximum energy output with minimal effort.  The lower shaft remains stiff while the middle is much softer, creating an easily loaded stick.  The shaft is protected by eLasTech Technology (available in intermediate and senior sticks only), which reduces the spread of micro-fractures caused by regular wear and tear, keeping the new feel much longer.

The hosel is constructed using the Supreme Power Shaft taper, which makes the hosel area thicker to better work with the mid-shaft amplified kick.  This optimizes energy transfer and keeps the blade aligned for the accuracy that you want.  The lower stick is also covered with the Tac-Spiral grip---this will give you a better connection with the stick, even during high-stress shooting situations.

The patented Dual-density Blade Core will offer you supreme balance, power and feel on each pass you receive while giving you more confidence when skating with the puck.  The blade is constructed with Power Core 3, which also enhances puck feel.  Aero Foam, also used in the APX and previous TotalOne sticks, adds stability to the blade, reducing blade deflection and increasing shot accuracy.

The stick remains lightweight with strong carbon-fiber construction known as TeXtreme Technology.  This reduces weight without sacrificing the strength of the stick.

With the TotalOne NXG, Bauer is again flexing their design and engineering prowess to give you one of the best combinations of lightweight power and durability available.

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stick! This stick is expensive, but worth the money. It is durable, and should last a normal season. Can chip in the blade, which has been my biggest issue. This is the only stick that I will use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stick Quality stick. It has a great feel for the puck. Bauer is the way to go with any type of gear even if you have to pay a little extra. They usually have lasted longer than the rest of the sticks I've tried. The only negative here is the big price tag for a stick much similar to the first totalone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light is an understatement This stick feels so light that at first I thought it was going to be a very fragile stick. It truly feels like there is nothing in your hands. I've used it for three games and find the stick to be very responsive. I went from a Kane curve to a Stamkos, so I am still dialing in my shots. So I cant really say yet whether I find the stick is better or not than the last total one. My wrist shot feels harder so far but feel like I lost a bit on the slapper. But again I'm still getting use to a different curve and lie. Overall, awesome stick. Price is just a bit too high though. Not sure if I'd buy again unless it lasts me a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OH. MY. GAWD. Judging by the title, I could tell you either thought I was in disbelief, either in how awesome or terrible this thing is. Ladies and/or gentlemen, we have a winner. Not only is the NXG an incredible powerhouse for shots, it is extremely light and durable. In my second game with it, some rather large child fell down straight on its shaft, and nothing happened to it (the stick, not our large friend). Get this stick, or you will be seriously missing out. Although I would understand your discontent for this piece of heaven, as it is 260 dollars, but I believe it was worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only stick I'll use! Just got this stick and have used it for a few practices and games now and first off my slapshot is 100 times harder!!! Love the design and it is the lightest stick ive ever held. pretty spendy but worth every penny!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pathetic Frustrating to purchase an expensive stick for our son thinking that more money might mean better quality. Our son has gone through 3 Total Ones, the last one being the NXG. I guess I will go back to researching for a stick that can handle a 15 year olds slap shot. Bauer, I am wondering how you will keep your customers?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from work on durability the stick was great for the five days i had it until it broke where bauer says the kickpoint i got to play in a few games 3 games and all three were not so great teams so there was not a lot of hacking and slashing on it and it broke on my second day of pratice of the week in warm ups it was a great stick but for the money i would stick to the apx or anything else. this stick is way over priced and doesnt last more than a week.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really? I'm a big fan of Bauer. But I gotta be honest, Bauer has gotten out of control with their pricing! Every new product gets jacked up by some outrageous price! $260? Really? There is nothing that amazing that has happened between this and last year's totalone that warrants an additonal $30. It's an attempt to see how much cash can be squeezed out of the customers. I think Bauer makes excellent gear and I most certainly would have bought this stick...but for $260? Nah. It's just NOT worth that much. Message to Bauer: Try to remember not to bite the hand that feeds you.

PRODUCT Q & A

Difference between TO and TO NXG?

Was wondering what some of the main differences are between the original Total One and the Total One NXG sticks.
Asked by: Anonymous
Other than the weight, not much. I will say this though. I have using this line since the nike bauer one90. I loved those sticks, and it seems that each new model that bauer releases is a step away from that stick. I have both the total one and the nxg. I like the feel of my total one better but that is mainly due to its length. @Mustang...There are always bad batches of sticks but that many? Is your son using the propper flex and lie? I was shattering (always the blade) these until I switched to ta different pattern. If you son is big like I was when I was 15, he might need a senior 102 flex. It could also be that your son is either not shooting right or he is very strong. These sticks are light for a reason...and the lighter they are the more prone to cracking and breaking they are. The pros go through these sticks like water. If I would make suggestion...buy the NEXUS or the reebok Ai 9, especially if you play defense. The true mid flexs are the bees knees. If you are looking for a quick release stick to the APX or the NXG. If you want a quick release and you are a big guy, use the NXG it will last longer.
