My son is 3 1/2, 4'2" and 45 lbs. What size elbow pads would you recommend?

According to Bauer's size chart He would be in a LG. Approximate sizing for youth elbow pads are as follows; XS- 3'0"-3'10" 35-45lbs SM- 3'3"-4'1" 40-60lbs MD- 3'7"-4'4" 45-65lbs LG- 3'9"-4'7" 50-70lbs
