RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My son liked the fit, but it was hard to get on and off. Did what it was supposed to do for a Mite Hockey player. Ended up buying a new one that was easier to get on and off. But would recommend this as it did it's job

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a true fit Using the sizing chart, I selected a Youth small. The issue is with the chest measurements. My son has a 23" chest and the Velcro barely touches. I don't see this being a long-term purchase, we'll be lucky to get 1 month out of it. Secondarily, the head opening is so narrow that we have to bend his ears to get it over his head. Every time we do this it hurts him. This is a bad product because it's not true to spec.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The size runs small We just got this for our three kids playing hockey age 6 girl, age 8 boy and age 9 girl. I had gotten the medium for my son who normally wears youth medium with no problem. But this one fits the 6yr old girl. The Velcro around the chest area is too short for my son. The head opening is not too bad for our kids but for other kids, it could be too small. Otherwise it looks to be made nicely with the chest coverage lower than the Bauer brand.

PRODUCT Q & A

son has these pads in youth small, his head barely fits through. thinking of moving up to the youth large. How much bigger are they? size chart nohelp

Asked by: Anonymous
Just doing the eye test with both pairs in front of me, here is what I found. The shoulder cups and bicep protection is very similar in size. The difference will be in the part that covers the chest and back. The larges are longer (1.5") in the front chest and about 1" longer in the spine padding. The width between the Velcro straps is 2" longer in the large shoulders.
