Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for a great product This blade is great! I have used sherwood sticks since I was a kid, and I tried the blade that came with my two piece easton synergy stick. I decided to go old school with a wood blade and I must say this thing is awesome! feels great, great control and is just as light and has a more solid feel than the composite materials used today. I say give it a try and see what you think!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A great blade with a....... problem I have to say, I do love this blade. Put this in mind before reading my review. I used this one with my Tour Wave shaft. This blade was so great when practcing with 6 oz. pucks and 10 oz. pucks. I pretty much get the pucks to where ever I was planning to shoot. The "problem" I mentioned in the topic...is at the hosel part of the blade. Yesterday, I used this blade to shoot the pucks......I have 3 pucks that weighted 10 oz. of each...... I do not believe the weight of the puck can do damage to the blade as the actual slapshot motion is even hurmful to the blade.....but....when I was doing my third slapshot on the 10 oz. puck......the blade was broken, at the hosel part.....my god!!!!!! when I looked at the cross-section phase......the woods were not fullt compacted. There were many spaces in between each piece of woods..........I think that was one of the reason why it brakes..........it was not as compacted as it outside look....... Overall, I love this blade. I give 3 stars is only for the problem of the hosel part. I was so shocked!!!!!!!!! If it is not for that reason, I will give 5 stars. Another thing......the buttom part got broken as well.... I was practicing on wet hockey rink. It was wet because after the snow....and the wood blade could not survived......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sherwood Blade I used to love the Yzerman blade that Easton made. I loved the curve. Now I go with the Coffey blade by Sherwood. They are very similar curves. It gives me great shooting accuracy and passing. Wrist and snapshots improve with the Coffey blade. The Slapshot takes a hit though, but whatever. This blade should last the usual amount of time of 2-4 months with regular use. Has a stocky design so it doesn't break easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better Puck Feel than ABS I use this blade in my Bauer ONE90 shaft for street hockey and sometimes for outdoor rink play. The blade isn't as durable as an ABS blade. I get about 3 1/2 months out of this blade, using it 4 days a week in the street meanwhile an ABS lasts about 4-5 months of the same use time. However, I prefer this blade because the puck and ball feel is much better. I hate the way the ABS blade feels. The puck feels like it's always sliding off of an ABS (even with tape) and this blade never feels like that. Overall, good, fairly durable blade. I prefer it to ABS.

PRODUCT Q & A

Can you put it on a diffrent stick?

Asked by: Anonymous
Of course. This is for SHAFT+BLADE combination stick. The benefit is that you get to use your favorite shaft with any kinds of blades, all kinds of lies, curves, materials, and brands. I used this one on my TOUR WAVE shaft.
