RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy but great protection I actually went to the nearest store and hour away in Chicago (because I was in the area anyway) just to get a look at these shin guards. My last set of guards were Easton Stealth S5's, which have been great the last 5 years, but have too much wear now. The EQ50's are noticably heavier, but also MUCH more protective and has added protection for the outside of my knee, where I took a shot last year in a small gap in protection (sore for weeks). I haven't used them in game yet, but I put them on and left the wife have at me with a stick...didn't feel a thing! Good thing too, because I play defense and block a lot of shots. I have a lot more confidence to square up to block a slap shot now more than ever. The upper thigh guard is noticably shorter than my S5's though. Not sure yet if that will be a concern. Other than the weight and extra bulk, nothing to complain about EQ50.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not to happy with this purchase! I didn't like the way they felt on my legs. Too bulky! They did have good protection. They were very heavy for shin guards. I'lll stick with my x60 shin guards. Easton makes great equip. but its always heavy and bulky. Also the strap broke and I didn't even use them in a game.
