These shin guards are extremely light, and the U foam does stay dryer as advertised. The protection is top notch as well.
That being said, there are some flaws. In both shin guards, within a few months, something inside the knee part came loose and rattles somewhat. It doesn't affect anything, but it's annoying when you buy a top of the line product. My other issue is the the flap at the top of the pad to cover your upper leg. It's way too big, way too inflexible, and cannot be adjusted enough. After a few months I simply cut it down with a pair of scissors to the size that the flaps on most pads are.
I expect some of these issues will be addressed in later product lines, but even so, they are good shin pads, and very light.

I was very excited to receive these shin guards. Once I began to play I noticed that my right knee felt a little weird. I had to adjust multiple times to make it comfortable. I later looked online and noticed a ton of other people complain about a circular disc that is under the plastic knee cover. One on the right was barely hanging on and left pad was a little undone. I then returned right away after one use. I was told at first no refund only replacements but called them out on defect. Total Hockey agreed and instead of an upgrade. I got a full refund. Total Hockey service was great but the defect on this product was a huge disappointment

Light Weight but Not Durable
Overall great shin pad except for the fact I have bought 2 pairs in a year. First ones broke and seconds ones are starting. Both have torn at bend of knee cap.

Awesome shin guards
These shin guards are super light but still protective. The way the straps are in the back give it a really nice snug fit but they can still work for any size calf. They're very comfortable and the removable liner makes it easy to keep clean
