RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good skates for the price I got these skates and had them for around 20 months. I bought the 14K model because this was the first pair of Reebok skates I had ever tried and did not want to go very high end in case I did not like them. I've used the following skates in order from most recent to way back, Graf G75 Ultra, Graf 705 Supra, Bauer Vapors, Easton Z Air, Micron 10-90, Micron 10-70, CCM Ultra Tacks, CCM Sport Tacks. Of all of the skates I've worn, the Reeboks were the most comfortable since the CCM Ultra Tacks. I'm on the ice 5-6 days a week between coaching and playing and I'm hard on skates. Durability was as expected from a mid-range skate. Overall, I was happy with them and have now upgraded to the 18K and hope to get a solid 2 years+ out of them. I would definitely recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pair of skates Ive ever owned Getting back into playing ice hockey after about a 10 year layoff and I was looking for a good skate at a good price. I had always used CCM because they made skates that fit my wider feet (4e width). A friend of mine who plays also has a wide foot and he told me that Reeboks fit him very well. I tried on a pair of the 14k's in a standard width and they felt surprisingly comfortable. Got to use them a few times on the ice already and I love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Out of The Box Excellent I'm a third year, recreational, beer league skater, but I know what I like, and I know what works. Have tried a couple of other brands of skates and the Reebok 14K's are excellent. Immediately comfortable and the pump, even though I never would have thought it would, works very, very well for maintaining ankle support and comfort. Wonderful performance for a mid price range skate. Feels and performs like an upper tier price range product. Very happy with these skates!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best skates I have ever had I have been playing hockey since I was 4. I have tried a lot of skates on during my time playing. bauer supreme customs, ccm tacks easton synergy all take a back seat to the comfort of these skates. I went to the Downers grove store for a pair of new skates and was taken back by the amount of choices out there. The sales staff gave over a hour of their time to help me find the best fit and really helped me make a informed decision. These skates are so comfortable and the pump on the heel makes it effortless to tighten the skates up during play by filling that dead space in the ankle area. With these skates on every stride feels right and the skates are very well balanced and there is no need for break in time! They were ready to go out of the box and I could not be happier with my purchase. If your in the market for new skates, please take the time to try on these! You wont be sorry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-around skate I've skated many years and the Reebok 14K are the most comfortable skates I've ever worn. For years I've been in pain skating, but just thought that was the norm as others have testified. Pressure points on the ankles and instep and top of the toes were common on my wide, flat feet and big ankle and toe bones. I felt pressure points even with the wider Bauer Supremes. These skates run wide (or better designed) and the ankle padding is excellent inside. Plenty of room in the toe. There is some give in the shell but sufficiently stiff and well designed for good energy transfer. There was a notable increase in my speed on the ice the first time out. Break in time was short and they seem more durable than the more expensive 2011 11K's....though time will tell. I've been hit in the skate with a shot already and no problem. The skate is higher up my ankle than my Easton 800C's of the past for added protection. The 14K's are the lightest in the K line at 836 g on my scale (~1 13/16 lbs), lighter than my 800C's by a little. I would suggest trying 2 sizes down from shoe size due to extra width. I did and they fit like a glove with an 8d. The pump works great, putting air around the achilles heel, securing the ankle in the skate. I like the lace lock, though some don't. This skate combines everything skate manufacturers have been trying to accomplish for the past several years (support, comfort, energy transfer, light weight and protection) at an excellent price for what you get.

PRODUCT Q & A

are the new EE widths the same as the old E's?

i see with the new line their sizes went from a E to a EE , are the new EE's and wider?
Asked by: Anonymous
I would be careful with this. I went from E 6ks size 7.5 which fit like a glove to EE 14ks and they felt almost a size too big. I'm not sure what else could have changed by EE 14ks are quite a bit bigger than E 6ks.

How long to wait after baking?

I had my skates baked and was told I could wear these 6-8 hours after baking. Will that be ok? I searched and found some say wait 24 hours and some say 8 hours is fine. I have a game tonight and would like to start breaking in.
Asked by: Semperfit
I would say the 6-8 hrs. is way more accurate. They will be ready to go for your game tonight.
