RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Decent Low end pads I'll start by saying my review is skewed based on the fact I own a pair of total one supreme shin guards, so I am use to great pads. With that said, the reason I bought these was for a cheap pair to wear when I play the occasional roller hockey. I found padding that wraps around the calves to be constantly shifting. I bought these hoping I would not have to use tape to hold them on. I can do that, but they shift around and just feel cheap compared to higher end pads. But then again what can I expect when the cost under $30 and I am comparing to + $100 pads.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid product at a good price So I play Sled Hockey (adapted hockey where players sit in sleds with blades underneath) as a goalie. Typical goalie pads are too heavy for the amount of protection so I use player shin guards. So I don't skate in these so I can't vouch for how well they work when you're moving but they're very comfortable when just sitting. As another reviewer noticed they do only have two straps in the back because they're made to be used with hockey socks. If you wear socks and tape them in the groove just under the knee they hold in place just fine (again I'm not skating on them but I've taken some pretty hard shots to the legs and they don't move). They also offer a good amount of protection. I haven't gotten a stinger yet. Really my only complaint is that they're getting scratched up a bit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good upgrade Very good value. Way more protection than my last shin guards. However, the straps are a bit low so I feel like these are only being held up because of my skates. The straps are also a bit too long so I can't get them as tight as I would like. If you're a bigger guy then these are probably ideal for the price + comfort + protection. But for skinnier guys, maybe grab a tighter shin guard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Just picked these up at a new Total Hockey location near me (which I am now at this store all the time). So far, these have held up great and are very comfortable! Great product from Bauer for a great value from Total Hockey...!
