The Mako II Blade is ribbed, which allows the blade to remain light despite the increased stiffness.  The micro-bladder technology also makes the blade very durable and able to withstand the rigors and tribulations that you face each game. 

The blade is lined with Non-Skid Coating, which will assist in keeping the puck at the sweet spot just before taking a shot.
