RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Steel! I broke the original steel that were on my Easton SE16 skates. The blades were the LPSii runners and they were pretty good. When I broke them, I replaced them with an old set of standard easton runners that i had. Those were terrible! I like a lot of bite and sharpen my skates down to a 3.8 hollow. The Elite Steel runners are unreal!!!! They feel so responsive and they give me that bite that i wasn't getting with those other two blades. These were a lot better than expected! Don't hesitate to upgrade to these.

PRODUCT Q & A

Is this the only size you have I need blades and holders for Easton SE 17size 8.5. If not are they still making them?

Asked by: Warhorse
What is listed is the only stock we will have of this product. Easton is no longer making this model of blade/holder.

If we can't find the elite 272mm replacement blades anywhere, is there another blade it can be replaced with?

Asked by: DylanB
The Razor Bladz holders will need the elite steel in its proper size, unfortunately.

I have two questions

1.Can I get these sharpened before I get them sent to me 2.I need a size 272 runner but you guys show as not having them could I special order them?
Asked by: forerunner
We can sharpen runners before shipping but that would negate any possible chance of a return. Send an e-mail to info@totalhockey.com and we can see if we can back-order those for you.

Will the 290mm fit on a 288mm holder?

I noticed the page shows a 290mm option, but the size chart skips from 288 to 296. My holder says 288 for a 10.5 boot. Will the 290mm blade fit?
Asked by: estrick80
Hi, it sounds like you may be looking into the incorrect runner. You would want the exact same size runner for your holder. If you provide us with skate information, we can definitely help you out. Please contact us by phone at 866.929.6699, email at info@totalhockey.com or web chat at the bottom of our web page. Thank you for the question!

Will these runners work with the Razor Bladz 1 holder?

Asked by: Anonymous
The Easton Elite Runners are compatible with the Easton RB1 Holders you have. The only difference between the runners you have (which I would think are the Easton Parabolic Runners) and the Easton Elite Runners are the perforations where the holder and the runner intersect. The holes where the bolts slide into the runners are similar widths.

Is Easton replacing the LPS2 runners with these Elite's?

It seems like they are fazing out the LPS2 runners in which they are getting hard to come by. All the newer skates have these runners instead. I noticed the LPS2 are 420 High Carbon Stainless Steel while these Elite's are 12c27 Stainless Steel. Why the change? Which steel is better?
Asked by: Anonymous
It seems to be the way things are going with Easton replacing the LPS2 with the Elite version. There is still the LPS Lite if that can work out for you. The Elite is a great runner with some subtle improvements for comfort and weight.

question about the runners

Which size runner would best fit a size 11 skate?
Asked by: Anonymous
The size you would need for a senior size 11 would be a 296. You can find the size on the holder of the skate at the heel where the rivet holes are located. It will say 296 L or R depending on which skate you are looking at.
