Total Hockey is proud to announce today that it is The Official Sponsor of USA Hockey. Out of more than 20 retail organizations, USA Hockey selected Total Hockey to represent the best in hockey equipment as its Official Ice Hockey Equipment Retailer through July 2012. "Being selected The USA Hockey Official Ice Hockey Equipment Retailer is recognition from the leading national authority on hockey of our efforts to bring hockey retail into the 21st century by supplying our customers with the latest and highest quality equipment available,” said Michael Benoit, president of Total Hockey. “This is quite an honor and a huge success for Total Hockey.” We’re extremely pleased to begin working with Total Hockey,” said Mike Bertsch, assistant executive director of marketing and communications for USA Hockey. “The company has dedicated itself not only to providing top-of-the-line equipment to players at all levels, but to continuing to grow the game and increase the safety of all those involved."
The two organizations will work together to increase player participation and fan interest while providing the best possible hockey experience by encouraging, developing and advancing the game. Total Hockey and USA Hockey plan to raise hockey awareness at a variety of events, tournaments and player development camps. These are all part of an effort to promote safety, good sportsmanship and proper equipment use.
Total Hockey currently has six stores in the greater St. Louis and Chicago areas, as well as a major online presence at totalhockey.com. It carries a large variety of the latest equipment from all of the top hockey manufacturers.
Beyond offering customers a unique hockey experience both in-store and online, Total Hockey has shown its commitment to growing the game through sponsorship of local hockey organizations and tournaments, association programs that help fund participation costs and a skate-sharpening program that encourages proper skate care and returns money to the organization and to the participant. Further, it has provided equipment donations and a variety of incentives to promote diversity in the game of hockey.
