Drawing on the innovations and expertise of the Easton-Bell Sports Helmet Technology Center, the E700 Helmet is specifically engineered with protection and fit systems to give players the assurance and protection they'll need to challenge anyone on the ice.

The E700 is designed to be super lightweight while remaining highly protective.  To that end, Easton spent countless hours designing and testing the new E700.  The result is a sleek, lightweight helmet that doesn't compromise protection.

An all new one-piece EPP foam liner and PC shell form the core protection innovations.  EPP foam is unique in that it is ultra-light, yet durable and resilient to absorbing energy over and over again without breaking.  The Poly-Carbonate shell was engineered to fit as close to the EPP foam as possible for a low-profile stealth look.

Drawing on the vast expertise of Easton-Bell Sports, the E700 features a Giro inspired fit system; a similar fitting system to those found in high performance Biking and Skiing Helmets.  The Giro system allows for improved protection and stability internally by properly cradling the head in relation to the helmet.  This system also allows for on-the-fly tool-less adjustments.

Removable comfort foam pads round out the interals and allow for a fresh clean feel game after game.

Overall, the E700 looks the part with a smooth, stealthy look, plenty of ventilation, a lightweight feel, and technological innovations to give you confidence every time you play.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps my dome safe Good helmet. It's comfortable and sturdy. It's light but didn't even scratch when somebody whacked me in the dome with their stick last week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light helmet That helmet doesn't give you the best protection in case of a head on collision on the board or if you fall backward on the ice. This is the reason why this helmet is not used much by professional hockey players. For me me it was a trade off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good deal I play in a Sun night Mens "non contact" league. This helmet has been perfect for me. My old bauer helmet I would sweat like crazy. The E700 is much lighter and breaths much better. There were lots of complaints about the padding not holding up, but with my 1-2 days a week of use it has been great. Plus got it on clearance for $50 off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Helmet I loved the sizing ability with the Giro system inside this helmet. It is super light and really comfortable. The only downside is that the matte finish comes off after a while...it doesn't bother me too much though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bucket I pondered long and hard on the purchase of this helmet and I'm glad I purchased it. It came down to this and the Bauer 9900 for choices, but I found this helmet more comfortable and light. The level of protection is extremely high comparible to anything on the market as well. One of my priorities is not to give up protection for lightness and this fit the bill perfectly. I threw on my Itech Titanium cage and I was good to go with the lightest combination on the market. I love the fact the inside padding is adjustable and washable so the helmet doesn't develop a stench after long periods of use. This helmet is probably one of the best looking on the market to top it all off and is low profile as well. The only draw backs to this helmet is it is a little difficult to mount a cage and it is bit on the expensive side for price but well worth the cash for the newest technology this helmet carries. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best fit! A review from someone who plays roller derby and not hockey. I tried on this helmet, the Cascade M11 and the Bauer 9900. I LOVE how light this helmet is and how perfectly I can adjust it to fit my head nice and snug. It felt more roomy than the Bauer 9900, but after adjusting it I was able to get a good fit. It was by far the most comfortable and lightest of the bunch. I'm trusting in the technology that lightest doesn't mean less protection. I also like all the vents for ventilation and was surprised at how soft the gel pads were on the inside. I like the fact that I can take them out and wash them or replace them if needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from drove it 4 miles to the rink and it was scuffed Pikc up this awesome looking helmet in black matte I literally took it out of the box and drove 4 miles to the rink pulled it out and it was all scuffed up on the back. Had I know it had such a poor paint job I would not have bought the matte finish or at least a heads up to buy a helmet bag owuld have been nice. I have emailed easton with no response yet.

Is the white Easton E700 helmet a youth xtra small for $49.99?

Asked by: Riddle25
There is not a youth, jr., or sr. distinction. The helmet goes by head size, which is not always specific to age category.

Ear protectors

Can you remove the ear protectors/pieces. I'm a referee and I hate using them.
Asked by: Kliff
The ear pieces can be removed from the helmet. 3 screws hold the ear protectors in place. A quick twist of those and they slide right out.

Adjustment question

The E700 comes from the factory with the side Giro adjustment all the way towards the front of the helmet. Moving these adjustments towards the rear makes the fit smaller or larger?
Asked by: Anonymous
By moving the Giro arms towards the rear of the helmet you will make it larger.

HECC certification

If I buy this helmet today what is the HECC certification expiration date? I purchased a helmet for my son two years ago and he is no longer able to wear it due to USA Hockey rules. The normal length of time for certification is 6 1/2 years. Does this helmet expire in 2019?
Asked by: jalky
I did a sample sizing (10 helmets) on some E700 helmets. Looked at some combo's, non combo's, matte finish and normal finish. Most had an expiration date of 2019, but I did catch a few that had the 2018 expiration date on them.

Can I use a Bauer concept ii full sheild on it?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it should be able to fit. It will require some adjusting. Ideally you would want to match the size of the shield (senior if Medium and up) with the size of the helmet.

How do you get the ear guards off the e700 helmet

Can't figure out how to get the ear guards off the easton e700 helmet. Anyone figure this out?
Asked by: Anonymous
The ear guards are on a track. If you just pull down on the flaps they will slide right out.

How does the E700 compare in fit to the S19

The S19 sat high on my head. Will the E700 fit similar? It fit around my head fine, but it almost seemed like it was too shallow.
Asked by: Anonymous
Easton helmets in general seem to feel like they fit high on the head but this helmet seems to fit a bit deeper than the lower level brands. The comfort level is definitely much better. If you don't like the fit I suggest you try a different make, everyone is different when it comes to preference or fit.
