PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Looking for a stick with a nice balance of quickness and durability?  Bauer’s Nexus 6000 Grip Composite Stick may be the ideal choice.

Each Nexus 6000 stick is constructed using a 12K carbon composite for added durability.  It utilizes a fused design—the shaft is fused with a blade for a two-piece stick.  Double concave walls work in coordination with the Nexus’ mid kick flex profile, which has soft handle and hosel areas to allow for more flexion and, when combined with a stiff middle shaft section, deliver a quick, natural release with power.  The stick’s GripTac finish will allow you to keep your hands on the Nexus 6000 at all times.

A Pure Shot blade profile increases the connection point between the blade-hosel transition of the stick. This reduces the amount of blade deflection—the twisting or opening of the blade while shooting—improving blade control and delivering pinpoint shooting accuracy.  This blade’s Aero Foam 3 blade core is an energy-absorbent core that maximizes power and puck ‘feel.’  The Power Profile dual taper boosts torsional stiffness to maximize loading with less torquing and twisting for better control and precision.

With all of these features, the Nexus 6000 Grip Composite Stick has everything one would need to convert raw talent into tallies on the scoreboard.

PRODUCT Q & A

How does this compare to the Nexus 7000?

I'm a huge fan of the nexus line and I am wondering whether or not I should spend the extra $40 to get the 7000. Is it worth it? Or should I save my money and go with the 6000?
Asked by: HenryM1726
The Nexus 7000 will be about 30g lighter than the 6000. The 7000 also uses an upgraded aero foam blade construction. As far as the shaft design and the feel of the stick, that will be similar. It's hard to say whether it's worth it or not, as stick choice depends a lot on player preference. Hopefully, though, those differences help you make your decision.
