The CCM RIBCOR 40K Grip Composite Stick leaves a path of destruction behind it and one can only feel sorry for the obstacles’ in front of it. The heightened technology in the improved RIBCOR now made by CCM, will blow away your mind and your opponent. The improved Ribbed Shaft is equipped a Pre-Loaded Power Transfer and a Power Taper Ratio that adds even more power than you thought you could ever have. In addition, the fibers that construct this beauty, are permanently in tension with each other to help increase power transfer from your hands directly to the puck. Don't lower your standards for medium power, snipe the top bar with a high load and low kick for a quick, accurate natural release.

The RIBCOR 40K also features Technora Reinforcement, which has greatly increases the durability and the life of the stick, allowing you to keep this stick by your side for seasons to come.

Another enhanced feature is the SXX2 blade. Constructed differently than the original RIBCOR, the 40K focuses solely on the “last 3 inches.” Ultimately, the SXX2 blade reduces vibrations throughout the stick when making hard passes, shots, or when defending a one-on-one. This technology will make your hands feel softer than your teddy bear Snuggles. The heel of the SXX2 Blade is stiff and only continues to get stiffer until it reaches the very end of the toe. This will provide you with an accurate shot every time as the puck will respond to your direction better than ever. This also makes it 5% lighter than the average blade.

This is not just your average stick; this is your sword in the stone. Take hold and rule the ice kingdom.

This is what the experts at CCM have to say

This stick was developed to provide players with great feel for the puck, but also with a quick release. The low kick point is very easy to load since the stick does most of the work. The geometry allows for fibers to be in tension at all times, which translates in easy loading. This is great for players who are looking to surprise goalies and get the puck off quickly.

Also, the blade has a unique design. The bridges that are inside the blade point upwards at the toe, to give it an extra stiffness in that area. This allows the toe to be extra stiff, which is crucial to get the puck off quickly.

Not only does it have great pop and a unique blade structure, it is also reinforced with Technora, which is a material that has the same protective properties as Kevlar, but better bending properties. Combine all these great features, and what you get is a very durable and performant stick.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be the perfect stick - but does not last. I love everything about this stick - except that it does not last. I play beer league twice per week. I have two 40k's. With the first, the toe is completely separated and the stick has lost all pop -this after only ~3mo's. The second is pretty banged up, but the toe has held so far, but starting to feel less snap - been using this stick for ~3mo's too, and still using it now. I give high design rating, because I love the longer length, flex and pattern. This could be the perfect stick, but durability stinks - so from that perspective so does the design. Love the longer length - this is the first stick I can use without an extension. If it held up like a Bauer or Easton's, I'd give this 10/10. Just wish other brands had same length and pattern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CCM Ribcor 40k Review This is one of the best sticks I've ever used. The puck flies off this stick, it really does have great pop and a quick release. The stiff blade keeps everything on target but you don't sacrifice any puck feel at all. The balance feels great, and it has just the right amount of grip for me. I use an 85 flex, and it does feel slightly stiffer than most 85 flex sticks I've used in the past. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CCM Ribcor Coming off the Reebok Ribcor, I saw this stick and immediately wanted it, since I loved the Reebok model. This is hands-down the best stick I've ever used. It has more durability to it then the Reebok model, without sacrificing the pop in the low kick point. The biggest feature it has is puck feel. Personally, the feel of stick is need most. Being able to feel the puck. the way I want to dictates how well I pass, shoot, stickhandle, etc. This stick's puck feel is absolutely incredible. Even on rolling pucks, and quick plays, you still get such a good feel to the puck which helps in all aspects of the game. This has been my biggest problem with Bauer, and why I haven't been buying they're sticks, but The CCM does the job. It also has such good pop for increased shooting power and accuracy, but feels durable at all times too. an extra bonus is the graphics. I don't like looking at a loud stick and prefer the black look. CCM took the straight-up all-black original Reebok model, and threw in some green and silver to make the stick look great without being too busy and distracting. All-in-all I think this is the best stick on the market, if you're looking for game improvement, or just are ready to play your best, buy it now!

Which curve would it be the closest to easton's e28 curve?

Asked by: So gho
Of these options, the P46 would probably be the closest. However, it will be more of a mid-curve than a toe-curve like the E28.

what curve is most similar to a bauer stamkos or easton cammalerri is the Duchenne a lie 5 or 6 I've seen blade charts where it says 5 and this one says 6

Asked by: larkinwilson
The Duchene pattern is a lie 6.0. Sometimes the lie of a blade pattern can change from Jr/Int./Sr. The closest to the Bauer PM9 would probably be the CCM P38.

Is the blade similar to the blade on the Tacks stick?

Asked by: Hock
The blade on the CCM Tacks stick features an XLERATED Blade and the CCM 40K has an Attack Frame blade. Both are very durable and similar.
