PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

If you’re looking for the quickest release on the market, you’ll find it in the brand new CCM Ribcor Trigger. CCM has managed to quantify the speed of energy load and transfer, allowing its measurement against other sticks on the market. Ultimately, this allows CCM to produce a product that loads and snaps quicker than anything else you will find. More efficient energy transfer leads to overall puck speed coming off your stick…who doesn’t love that?

The Trigger uses Technora shaft construction, which is an aramid fiber similar to Kevlar. However, Technora is able to bend better than Kevlar, which allows the stick to maintain its structure and performance in addition to its increased durability. This technology is what CCM refers to as the ASY-1 flex profile.

In the Ascent II blade, CCM has switched to a construction that uses more internal foam than usual. The boost in foam allows for a softer feel for maximum control. Don’t worry – the external stiffness of the blade is still there, so you will get the perfect combination of feel and maximum pop.

The only thing quicker than the Trigger’s release will be your name moving up the stat sheet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great feel and quick release Bought 6 months ago and play center for high level roller hockey 3/wk. 95 flex and my slap shot power has noticeably improved. Usual shot type is a quick wrist or snap shot with great accuracy. Has held up well with toe now just starting to break down after approximately 75 games. Will buy another as I am very particular about the feel and shot accuracy of my sticks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Stick, Expensive Price Spent $269 on this stick for my son. The toe is already shredding fibers like its a cheap stick. The warranty is not good at CCM as I've learned from a past helmet issue I've had with them, so I know they aren't going to own it. What a disappointment. The stick is very light, but obviously its cheaply made. We tape it for every practice and game, so its not like it wasn't protected. Used it less than 10 times. Save your money and go with Bauer!
