PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

New ideas, advanced methods all combined with original and creative thinking creates a recipe for Sherwood’s top of the line, innovative T120 Composite Stick.

The Sherwood T120 Composite hockey stick is equipped with both Ekore and VRF2 Technology, to create one of the lightest and strongest sticks around. Weighing in at only 395 grams the T120 simply speaks for itself.

Sherwood used Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber which in layman’s terms means the fiber is a reinforced material that has already been saturated with resin, therefore making the fiber much stronger. The Ekore shaft is 5 times thinner than a normal pre-preg by applying less resin and at a much slower pace allowing for better impregnation and ensured durability.

Each layer of the Ekore shaft is hand wrapped and then put into a vacuum machine to ensure that all layers are securely sealed to one another while also eliminating any remaining air bubbles or wrinkles.

Also built into the shaft like many other composite sticks is mid-kick technology that allows you to unload heavy shots. Yet the T120 is not like other sticks at all. The T120 actually has a technology all to itself called FFZ which allows you to cut down the shaft up to 4 inches without affecting the flex of the stick.

On the lower portion, the T120 blade is manufactured with VRF.2 Technology, meaning the blade sports the same carbon fiber as the shaft does providing enhanced durability. Inside the blade is high-density foam to prevent premature disintegration. Further, the middle of the blade has a carbon bridge that is used to minimize blade torsion. These enhanced features promote durability to keep the T120 looking and feeling “Like New” longer than the average blade.

Take these new ideas and advanced methods, combine them with your quick hands and fancy moves, and you’ve got a stat sheet record like no other with the T120 Composite Stick by Sherwood.

RATINGS & REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Durable Lightweight Mediocre Puck Feel I bought two of these on sale last summer ($100 Canadian each), which seemed like unbeatable value. Both of the sticks are still in perfect condition, although I am using them for roller hockey, which is a little more forgiving on sticks than ice. That said, I have been training 5 days a week with the sticks since September. My major criticism of these sticks is their weight: it may sound crazy, but they are actually too light. Even a slightly heavier stick helps too kill the puck when receiving a hard pass. Combine that with a very stiff blade, and this sticks makes receiving and handling hard passes quite a challenge. The other slight drawback for me is the curve: the Stastny is not as open as Bauer P92, and is slightly lower lie, which has been affecting my shot a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than Bauer This is a very durable high end stick. I purchased the first T120 for my son about 2 yrs ago. After he used it for an entire season before it started to crack. I have since purchased 4 more so he should be set for some time now. With the Bauer MX3 and total one's we were lucky (or I should say unlucky because the warranty is 30 days) to get about 45 days out of them before the blade would start splitting. It has taken some time and $$ to find a stick that is actually worth the price but we eventually did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing stick I purchased the Sherwood T120 around a month an a half ago, and I could not be more happy with the sticks performance it's light as a feather and very durable since purchasing the stick my slapshot an snap shot have became more powerful due to how the stick flexes overall the best stick I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stick I absolutely love this stick. It's is so light yet so responsive, durable, and has great performance. I'd say this stick is for someone who likes to stickhandle and take wrist shots not so much on the slap shots even though I can rip some pretty hard slap shots with this stick. Definitely worth the price and a great stick!
